A Beautiful new PRS 513 has made its way into the Haus! This stunning beauty has the 10-Top option and wears a wonderful Scarlet finish. The 513 stands for 5 pickups and 13 sounds, this baby delivers in every toneful setting! The neck and bridge set can deliver single coil sound, moderate output humbucker sound or high output humbucker sound! The 513 has its own unique set of bird inlays, as seen below. You have to experience this one!
We have a Washburn D56SWCE and a D52SW in the Haus! The D56SWCE has solid Rosewood sides and back, with a select Sitka Spruce top, Mahogany neck and a B-Band A3T pickup system (with built in chromatic tuner!). The D52SW has solid Mahogany sides, back and neck with a select Sitka Spruce top. Both have wood binding for both body and neck, for a warm and classy appearance. Both deliver tone that makes them hard to resist (the previous pair of these we received were taken home by two of us...), and playability that makes them even harder to resist. We also have one of the F52SWCE guitars on order, which is a folk size all solid (solid Mahogany sides and back, Sitka Spruce top and B-Band electronics) acoustic guitar. We also received a pair of F10S guitars, which are not part of the Timbercraft model line are very nice solid top folk size acoustics. Now is a great time to pick up a nice new acoustic!
We have a few opportunities for folks looking for a nice Tradition. A blue J.R., a natural G-12 and a G-12 in walnut oil stain are now available. These probably won't last long, so if you are wanting one of these you ought to hurry...
News from the Winter NAMM show was a little sparse this year, but we do have great news from a few of our vendors. For example, PRS has released three new models which include the fantastic 1957/2008 pickups they introduced last year (in the Modern Eagle II and the Al Di Meola Prism guitars). All three are finished in never before offered PRS proprietary nitro-cellulose burst colors. The three are the Sunburst 22, Sunburst 245 and Smokeburst McCarty (yes, an original style McCarty without battery!). These are exciting new offerings from PRS! Tradition also made a splash at the show, the long drought will shortly be over! Their already great guitars will be even better, increasing the incredible bang for the buck value they already were! A new Jerry Reid model (with their new Trem system) will be available soon. Things are already looking up for guitar players in 2009!
