New GraphTech String Saver Floyd Style Saddles

Graph Tech Guitar Labs, the guitar industry’s nut and saddle leader, announces a new model of String Saver™ guitar saddles to fit most popular models of the Floyd Rose Locking Tremolo System.
The new saddles employ patented String Saver™ polymer technology. Micro-lubricants molecularly bonded to the saddle material are activated by string pressure, reducing stress and allowing strings to vibrate freely. The result: Strings that last and last, no matter how hard you play!
Over the years, guitarists have come to rely on String Saver saddles for relief from string breakage, and the freedom to play – really play – without having to worry about breaking strings.
Since it was introduced in the early ‘80s, tens of thousand of guitars around the world have been fitted with the Floyd Rose Locking Tremolo System. While providing great tuning stability for tremolo guitars, the bridge has also been susceptible to increased string breakage. For years, chronic string-breaking Floyd-users have beseeched Graph Tech to bring String Saver™ technology to their aid, but until recently patent law has been an impediment.
Shredders, you have been heard; slippery Floyds are here!

Also in stock regular Graphtech saddles. Utilizing new, breakthrough technology in polymer engineering, you'll never again have to worry about breaking strings.
Metal saddles hold your strings firmly. Too firmly. Imagine tightly gripping a wire coat hanger and bending it back and forth, over and over - it snaps.
Patented GRAPH TECH STRING SAVER SADDLES ease this grip. As a string moves and vibrates against a String Saver saddle, a thin Teflon™ film is created. Teflon eases the grip of the saddle on the string and microscopically spreads the stress over a greater portion of the string.
For string breakage reduction the difference can be dramatic. Strings that last and last, no matter how hard you play. String Savers have the full bodied tone and bite of vintage steel saddles with 25% more sustain than brass!
Go for those wild bends, play harder and be more aggressive, dare that string to break!

As of today the only Hofner Vintage '63 in stock in the Midwest.
In 1956, Walter Hofner had an idea for an amplified semi-acoustic bass. When it was brought to life, his idea revolutionized popular music. Many players revere Hofner's Violin Bass as a legend because of its historical significance and its warm, woody, double-bass-like amplified tone. The Hofner Violin Bass is a unique instrument with a smooth, sweet sound and a playing ease that simply eludes most ordinary basses. Named for the year the most familiar version of the Violin Bass was popularized, the Vintage '63 captures its characteristic tone - deep, warm and reminiscent of a full-size string bass. Built to be as durable as its legacy, the compact-sized, easy-to-play, light-in-weight Vintage '63 is equally at home on stage or in the studio. Comes with a deluxe Hofner hard case.
Lexus is currently working with Adopt-A-Minefield to bring awareness to issue of landmines by giving away a special edition SUV featuring Paul McCartney's '63 Hofner Bass image that is part gas and part electric. Click here to find out more.
