New GraphTech String Saver Floyd Style Saddles
Graph Tech Guitar Labs, the guitar industry’s nut and saddle leader, announces a new model of String Saver™ guitar saddles to fit most popular models of the Floyd Rose Locking Tremolo System.
The new saddles employ patented String Saver™ polymer technology. Micro-lubricants molecularly bonded to the saddle material are activated by string pressure, reducing stress and allowing strings to vibrate freely. The result: Strings that last and last, no matter how hard you play!
Over the years, guitarists have come to rely on String Saver saddles for relief from string breakage, and the freedom to play – really play – without having to worry about breaking strings.
Since it was introduced in the early ‘80s, tens of thousand of guitars around the world have been fitted with the Floyd Rose Locking Tremolo System. While providing great tuning stability for tremolo guitars, the bridge has also been susceptible to increased string breakage. For years, chronic string-breaking Floyd-users have beseeched Graph Tech to bring String Saver™ technology to their aid, but until recently patent law has been an impediment.
