This striking custom build (originally featured on July 2nd, 2007) is a great example of what can be done in the way of customization. New pickups can dramatically alter the sound of your instrument, or change it just a little depending on what pickups you choose (we can help you choose, too!). We can design custom circuits to allow you to shape your tone as you see (or hear...) fit. Bone nuts improve your tone while also dressing up your instrument, and improve tuning stability. This is a really cool guitar! The body is mahogany with a quilt maple cap, the set neck is mahogany with a rosewood fingerboard. The purple burst over the quilt looks great, and the unique bat inlays (yes, bats!) are striking and well detailed. The pickups are a little higher output than most SE pickups, and are very happy to deliver tremendous tone in high gain amps (they work well in cleaner settings, too).
This is a surprisingly light and resonant instrument, and being an SE is affordable. Come by and see it for yourself, it is even better in person than these pictures can show!
